GET INVOLVED - VOLUNTEER!
The New Prospect Elementary School PTA (NPES PTA) comprises dedicated volunteers like YOU!
Thanks to fabulous volunteers like you, our partnership with the school, teachers, and staff helps create successful programs and events! There's a committee to fit the needs and talents of anyone who wants to support student achievement and our community.
We Need Your Help!
Some people think there are plenty of others to volunteer for tasks and activities, but we need your help! Think of what we can accomplish with more hands and, just as importantly, your input. We constantly need fresh ideas to motivate and keep the PTA moving forward.
Your time is your most valuable contribution to our children and school. Nothing is as priceless as your child seeing you participate in a school event. Everyone can volunteer in different ways:
- Working parents can contribute from home at their convenience.
- Several tasks can be done remotely but still make an impact.
Remember—one person can make a difference!
OK, I'M IN!
Getting started is easy! Visit our Volunteer Interests page and register your interest in one or more activities. When an opportunity arises this year, we'll contact you to see if you can help.
JUST ONE MORE THING!
Fulton County requires all volunteers to complete online registration before volunteering in any Fulton County school.
- All approved volunteers must reapply for volunteer status every two calendar years.
- Any previous volunteer in the district must reapply for the same two-year period.
- Access Fulton County Volunteer Information & Training links here.
Completing this training is very important if you want to volunteer this year. You will not be allowed in the classrooms without completing the online volunteer training.
- Applicants should be prepared to spend about 10-15 minutes on the training and application process.
- By State Law, all volunteers must be current with the Child Abuse Reporting Protocol Training before being allowed to volunteer in our schools.
- Enter your full legal name as it appears on your government-issued ID (please do not use nicknames or "goes by" names on the application).
- All applicants must wait 24 hours after applying for application processing and approval.
Please contact the front office if you have any further questions regarding volunteering at the school and the required documents.
