How does the PTA fund its programs?
At NPES, the PTA raises funds in a variety of ways:
- Annual Giving Campaign—The NPES PTA will not ask you or your child to sell items or solicit donations to support our school. Your membership donation during the Annual Giving Campaign is our primary funding source for the PTA. Our goal is 100% participation.
- Business Partners—We are proud and thankful to our NPE PTA Business Partners, who contribute to our PTA's financial goals.
- Active Business Alliances—Several local businesses partner with the PTA on NPE Spirit Nights and donate a portion of their profits to the PTA.
- Passive Business Alliances—Amazon Smile, Publix, Kroger, Box Tops and more.
- Corporate Matching—Many of our local employers match dollar-for-dollar donations. Please remember to ask. NPE PTA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency, EIN#: 58-2127043

- Operational Income—Some of our programs, such as the school yearbook, play, field trip t-shirts, and spirit wear, are self-funding. These programs are typically projected to break even or generate a small profit to support future programs.

Publix Partners Card ATTENTION: Publix Partners Cards are NO LONGER VALID, please follow the instructions below for our school to get credit for your purchases. Simply enter your phone number and a percentage of your total grocery bill will automatically be credited to New Prospect's account.

Kroger Rewards Kroger Community Rewards Program. Register your Kroger Plus card to earn money for our school. Click ENROLL, select New Prospect Elementary, and shop all year using your Kroger Card! You must re-register your card annually.

Amazon Smile Amazon donates a portion of your eligible purchases back to NPES. Amazon Smile is the same Amazon - same products, price and services - you just go to smile.amazon.com. The first time you use the website, log in, go to your account, and then "pick your own organization." Enter New Prospect Elementary PTA and click Yes to start shopping. You should see it at the top of the page. Next time, all you need to do is use smile.amazon.com and start shopping!

Box Tops for Education Clip 'Box Tops' from General Mills products and send them to the collection box near the front office. Each box top is worth 10 cents for our school! Classrooms will also have contests through the year. Visit here for more information.
