NPE’s “You’ve Been Ghosted”

Family Activity!

The PTA is bringing back this distance-friendly family activity to enhance community connections.  “You’ve Been Ghosted” is a simple festive activity designed to bring joy to your family while spreading joy to others.  This is a flexible activity that can be done at your family’s convenience.  If you choose to participate, the PTA will randomly assign you to “ghost” another family that also attends New Prospect Elementary.

How To Participate:

1. Complete the Sign Up Genius to participate by Wednesday, October 6^th*: Click Here In Sign Up Genius, please enter:
   • Number of family members in the "QUANTITY" box.
   • Family last name, any food allergies, and your house address (for the delivery) in the "MY COMMENT" box.
2. You will receive your assigned family via email from the PTA the week of October 11^th.
   
   
3. Have your child/ren write a short thoughtful note to your assigned family. You can find a printable, fun pumpkin template with some sentence starters by clicking the following link:

4. Gather some fun treats – from spider rings and stickers to crayons and candy. Fill up a goodie basket with the treats, along with your note(s).
   
   
5. Re-visit the Sign Up Genius and scroll to your assigned family (as noted above, you will receive your assigned family via an email from PTA) to learn your family’s address so you know where to deliver your goodies!
   
   
6. By Halloween (October 31^st), walk, bike, or drive as a family to your assigned family’s house and leave the goodie basket on your family’s doorstep. Then, ring the doorbell & hide! Make a run for it so no one sees you…. or enjoy from a distance…. watching the family receive a sweet note/surprise from your family!
   
   
7. Wait for your turn to be ghosted (if you haven’t been already).
